Jennifer Williams, MS, NCC, LPCLicensed Professional Counselor
Jenny is currently a doctoral student enrolled in IUP’s Counselor Education and Supervision program. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2006, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a National Certified Counselor. She currently is the supervisor of three service coordination programs at a local community-based social service agency. She has previously worked with a variety of clients, including children and adolescents, individuals, and couples. Her areas of focus are anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma, and communication skills with couples and families. Jenny appreciates allowing the client to lead the direction of sessions, working collaboratively to develop tangible goals and highlight the progress and strengths that clients possess. Jenny utilizes CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and other methods deemed appropriate for the client.
She lives in the Pittsburgh area with her children and enjoys reading, running, and spending time with friends and family. |
