Kyla Feliz-Williams, MS, NCCClinical Mental Health Counselor
Kyla is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master’s degree from Duquesne University. She obtained her Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College. She has previously treated college students assisting them with this developmental transition. Kyla uses a trauma informed approach, motivational interviewing, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy when working with individuals. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. She is trained in EMDR, which is a method of treatment that focuses on changing the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors resulting from a distressing issue. This specific treatment approach allows the brain to resume its natural healing process providing an instant shift toward a feeling of peace, acceptance, and a deep appreciation for a client’s own strength.
