Meagan MooreTherapist Intern
Meagan is a counselor in training at Waynesburg University working towards her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. A majority of her field experience is in working with the adolescent population through her work at The Bradley Center. Meagan also has experience in working with individuals who battle with substance abuse through her time working at Pyramid Counseling LLC. Within her therapeutic stance, Meagan believes in the ability of every individual to achieve his or her full potential. To help a client achieve his or her full potential, she takes an eclectic approach to counseling incorporating various therapeutic techniques, including person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques, that best meet her client’s needs. Meagan provides a warm and welcoming environment that encourages growth through the use of mindfulness and grounding techniques to help the client stay present in the here and now. Her goal is to help clients overcome any barriers that may be holding them back from achieving their full potential.
